Kids Beginner Sewing Club

Ages 8–12  |  Saturdays 9:30–11:00 AM

The Kids Beginner Sewing Club is a recurring Saturday morning class designed for children ages 8–12 who are ready to learn the art of sewing in a hands-on, small-group setting. Students build real skills week over week — at their own pace, with consistent instruction and plenty of encouragement.

What students learn

• Hand sewing fundamentals — running stitch, back stitch, whip stitch
• Introduction to the sewing machine — setup, threading, and safe operation
• Fabric basics — how to identify, cut, and handle fabric
• Beginning construction techniques and seam work
• Creative confidence and pride in finishing a project

Program details

• Day: Saturdays  |  Time: 9:30–11:00 AM  |  Ages: 8–12
• Format: Ongoing recurring class — enroll by the month or session
• Includes: All instruction, machines, equipment, materials and supplies

Space is limited. Drop-off available ages 9+; age 8 requires a parent or guardian on site.
