Prerequisite: Completion of the Beginner Sewing Series (Parts 1 & 2) or equivalent skills based on the Skill Level Guide.
Intermediate Sewing Series — Part 1 moves beyond the basics into real garment construction. You'll build on your foundational skills with pattern reading, more accurate cutting, and construction techniques that get you closer to making wearable, well-finished pieces.
What you'll learn
- Reading and understanding basic sewing patterns
- Taking body measurements
- Cutting fabric with more accuracy
- Garment construction basics
- Installing zippers, elastic, waistbands, or simple closures
- Building cleaner sewing habits and stronger finishing techniques

- Length: 4 weeks, one session per week
- Session length: 2 hours (8 instructional hours total)
- Price: $325 for the full series (all 4 sessions)
