Beginner Sewing Series — Part 1 is a structured, small-group program designed for adults who want to learn to sew the right way — step by step, with real hands-on practice and consistent instruction. Over four sessions you'll build actual skills, complete beginner projects, and walk away confident at a sewing machine.
This series is ideal if you've never sewn before, tried to teach yourself and got frustrated, or want a solid foundation before tackling bigger projects.
What you'll learn
- Sewing machine setup, threading, and troubleshooting
- Sewing safety and best practices
- Fabric basics and cutting techniques
- How to sew straight seams and basic construction methods
- Simple finishing techniques
- How to follow beginner sewing instructions

- Length: 4 weeks, one session per week
