Prerequisite: Beginner Sewing Series — Part 1, or equivalent skills based on the Skill Level Guide.

Beginner Sewing Series Part 2 is the next step after Part 1, still foundational, but technique-focused. You'll build on your straight-seam and machine-handling skills with facings, curves, and alteration-relevant measurements, and finish ready to tackle real garment alterations.

What you'll learn

• Facings and finishing techniques for necklines and armholes
• Sewing curved seams with confidence
• Basic hand-sewing finishing techniques
• Taking alteration-relevant measurements
• Applying your skills to real garment alterations (hems, seam take-ins/let-outs, neckline adjustments)

• Length: 4 weeks, one session per week
• Session length: 2 hours (8 instructional hours total)
• Price: $300 for the full series (all 4 sessions)
